Golden Saber HPJ
The streets have never been tougher. Your job has never been more demanding or more dangerous. That's why we're now offering law enforcement the ultimate in handgun ammunition.
At the heart of Golden Saber HPJ is a high-performance hollow point bullet with a jacket made entirely of cartridge brass - not copper gilding metal. Thicker and stiffer than other bullet jackets, Golden Saber HPJ releases energy over a longer distance.
And, unlike conventional hollow point bullets, the jacket is nose cut completely through, promoting controlled expansion to well over 1.5 times the bullet's original diameter. The nose cuts, configured in a new, patented spiral pattern, produce larger petals and reduce the nose cavity for optimized mush performance.
Over a wide range of velocities, Golden Saber delivers virtual 100% weight retention. The precise hollow point cavity design also maximizes penetration by minimizing lead core deformation. And our Golden Saber Bonded bullets set the standard for barrier penetration performance, especially through auto glass. It all adds up to the kind of knockdown performance lives may depend on.
There's more. Nickel-plated cases feed slickly and eject smoothly. Powder blends are treated to suppress muzzle flash. Primers and case mouths are waterproofed for maximum integrity in all weather conditions.
In addition, all Golden Saber specifications feature our industry-exclusive Driving Band. It locks the lead core to the jacket and reduces rifling contact friction for optimum muzzle velocity. Reduced bullet nose diameter allows for precise bore alignment, producing match-grade accuracy not usually found with hollow point ammunition.
Designed to meet U.S. federal law enforcement standards, Golden Saber HPJ is the high performance ammunition you've been waiting for. Available in .380, 9mm, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP, it's ready to meet your toughest real-world evaluation.
Exclusive Driving Band Profile
The Golden Saber bullet has our unique Driving Band profile - a section of the bullet where its diameter is reduced from groove diameter to bore diameter. The shoulder of the Driving Band locks the jacket and core together for maximum integrity. The reduced diameter in front of the Driving Band allows the bullet to align precisely in the bore before the band engages the rifling, producing true, match-grade accuracy. This profile reduces jacket contact with the rifling, which conserves muzzle velocity often sacrificed with today's heavier weight bullets.
Remington has seen fit to raise prices. The current wholesale is close to what TDS sold this ammo for last year. If we are able to get these rounds at reasonable prices we will stock them, if not TDS will add them to the "Will Not Carry" list along with Corbon
Folks are asking if we quit carrying this round or that one. The answer is NO, we set the site to only show the rounds we have on the shelf. We still attempt to stock the full line.
I know it looks sad but better than seeing all those zeros.
