The Barrett Model M95 is a compact long range rifle chambered in the extremely powerful .50 BMG round. Packed into its lightweight bullpup design this rifle features the pinpoint accuracy of a bolt-action rifle and the truly intense power of a magazine fed .50 caliber weapon system. It has a 29-inch barrel with an overall length of just 45 inches in a light weight package. The buttplate magazine well and trigger housing are unitized to stiffen the steel lower receiver. The steel upper receiver is reinforced with an M1913 rail to help support the chrome-chambered fluted barrel. This rifle is designed for to be easily field stripped, so the two receivers can be assembled in less than 60 seconds without any tools. The bolt carrier is innovatively designed for speed, reliability and safety. It slides effortlessly on ultra smooth rails, locking the large bolt into the barrel extension on three separate lugs.
